Love is such a beautiful thing when shared between two people. To be so in love with one another means that there is nothing to be worried about as it pertains to faithfulness and dedication…or is it? Michael Taylor and Sophie Carter are deeply in love and seem to have the perfect relationship to each other and in the eyes of family and friends. Michael is preparing to take their relationship to the next level and propose to Sophie, until he receives a call from an unlikely source that informs him of his girlfriend’s cheating ways. Michael is led to secretly investigating the relationship altering news, which forces him to face his pride and overcome the idea that his relationship may not be as solid as he once believed.

 

After finding out that his girlfriend of 3 years has been cheating on him with her ex-boyfriend, Michael has been placed in a serious predicament. He knows that he has to walk away from the relationship but the way he needs to do so is the issue at hand. Michael would not have even known about the cheating if it weren’t for Raine Simmons, his girlfriend Sophie’s best friend. Michael begins to lean on his new ally, which is a no-no in the unwritten book of relationship codes. Sophie’s actions and deceitfulness pushes Michael farther away from her into the arms of another woman. When the heart is hurting, sometimes we tend to do things that we might regret…or do we? The skeletons in Sophie’s closet managed to escape leading Michael to walk away from the relationship that he thought would eventually lead to holy matrimony. Where did the hurtful turn of events lead Michael? Right to arms of Raine Lopez, the once best-friend of Sophie. The relationship setback with his now ex-girlfriend, Sophie Taylor, has fueled the strength of his relationship with his new love, Raine Lopez.

 

Despite the new direction that his life is going in with Raine, Sophie continues to be a presence in his life one way or another. But Sophie is not the only woman that is going to play an intricate role in his life however. There is a woman by the name of Karma that will also make her presence known…but her presence comes without an invite. One thing in life we can’t control is if Karma will decide to come knocking at our door. If she does we just have to hope that we are not on her bad side. With all that has transpired in Michael’s life since his previous relationship with Sophie, Karma couldn’t help but show up to the party and usurp her will. Who will she come looking for? Who will be the one that will end up on her bad side? Whose heart will Karma come looking to kill?
